Payroll Specialist - Accountant

Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc., a leading provider of industrial products and solutions, is seeking a highly qualified payroll expert to join our Human Resources team in Greenville, SC as a full-time Payroll Specialist - Accountant

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR PAYROLL SPECIALIST - ACCOUNTANT?

As a Payroll Specialist - Accountant, you will manage bi-weekly payroll processing in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring the accuracy of employee pay rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, time worked, paid leave, holidays, deductions, and address updates. You will ensure the correct processing of deductions for taxes, insurance, and 401(k) contributions. Your role will include handling bi-weekly journal entries, reconciling tax withholdings and benefits, and coordinating with Accounts Payable for health insurance payments. You will also monitor tax filings and manage monthly sales commission administration using Performio, ensuring precise commission payments and data uploads to ADP. Additionally, you will calculate and process annual bonus and incentive payments, prepare annual reports for various surveys, and reconcile contractor hours with staffing firm invoices. You will support the Human Resources team by administering the random drug and alcohol test program.
