We provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, as well as short-term and long-term care, including skilled nursing, all under one roof. This is a full-time floating position - LPNs are encouraged to apply.

Patient Centered Care is our top priority at Life Care of Puyallup. The RN Admissions Nurse supervises, implements, coordinates, and manages patient care by engaging with patients, families, nursing staff, and others in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing)
  • One (1) year of experience in geriatric nursing is preferred
  • Possess expert knowledge in the field of practice
  • Familiarity with practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in a post-acute care facility
  • Ability to interpret and implement department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Proficiency in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Uphold confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
  • Adhere to company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism by following Life Care's Code of Conduct and completing mandatory compliance training
Provide hands-on assessment care to patients during the admissions process
  • Skillfully and compassionately deliver quality nursing care to patients
  • Assess patients' needs and initiate care plans upon admission and readmission
  • Accurately receive, document, and transcribe physician orders
  • Communicate orders promptly to ensure timely receipt of medications and implementation of orders
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language
