About the Position:
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University is looking for a Postdoctoral Scholar to conduct research focusing on water quality. The selected candidate will also assist faculty in research activities and provide training to students in laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should hold a PhD in environmental engineering or a related field. Proficiency in laboratory work involving chemical analysis in air and water using instruments like ICs, GCs, HPLCs, and organic carbon analyzers is essential. Previous research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals are required, with preference given to individuals familiar with laboratory analytical techniques.
