Job Title: Hospital Phlebotomy Unit Supervisor at CHI St. Joseph Health

The network includes more than 20 ambulatory clinics providing primary care, freestanding Emergency Room Express Clinics, and imaging and diagnostic services.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises all work performed during the shift, organizing work flow and prioritizing tasks.
- Responsible for reviewing, updating, and implementing phlebotomy policies and procedures.
- Performs phlebotomist duties, troubleshoots instrumentation, and ensures efficient work flow.
- Orients and trains new employees and ensures competency of all staff within the section.
- Communicates departmental information effectively and resolves conflicts to promote productivity.
- Maintains operational excellence by managing activities, ensuring quality services, and complying with regulatory requirements.
- Implements HR policies, promotes positive employee relations, and addresses staffing issues when necessary.
- Attends safety training programs and follows exposure control plans and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 1+ years as a phlebotomist
Pay Range: $21.30 per hour
