We are currently seeking a organized, process-oriented individual to fill the role of Accounts Payable Specialist. This key position involves managing accounts payable and ensuring that bills are paid timely, accurately, and efficiently.

Location for this position is at our corporate offices at our Wyoming store at 765 28th Street SW, Wyoming, MI.


Responsibilities:

  • Use accounting software to maximize accuracy and efficiency
  • Match vendor invoices to received purchase orders using Epicor Advanced Receiving
  • Prepare and process weekly vendor payments
  • Maintain vendor database
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors
  • Analyze and verify purchase orders, prices, payment terms, and shipping costs
  • Provide timely responses to internal and external vendor inquiries and issues
  • Resolve discrepancies by working with buyers and contacting vendors
  • Manage and reconcile credit card accounts
  • Monitor and administer staff expense requests
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Attitude of cooperation, inclusion, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Commitment to integrity

Schedule:
This is a part-time position, 24-32 hours per week, and can vary seasonally. Days and hours are flexible, between 9AM and 7PM Monday through Friday. Nights or weekends rarely required.
