Role Overview: We are in search of a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to become part of our team of educational professionals. As an Occupational Therapist within our K-12 school district, you will have a critical role in assisting students with disabilities in developing the necessary skills to actively participate in their educational endeavors and accomplish their personal objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans to cater to the unique requirements and goals of students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other experts to devise and implement strategies that promote students' achievements
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Maintain precise and current documentation of evaluations, progress updates, and treatment strategies
  • Monitor students' advancements and modify interventions as necessary to ensure continuous enhancement
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute specialized knowledge to establish suitable goals and adaptations

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Hampshire
  • Background in working with K-12 students, preferably in an educational environment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate efficiently with students, parents, and peers
