About the Position:

  • EXL Risk Control is looking for self-directed independent contractors with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards.
  • Work remotely from your own home or office and handle on-site survey/inspection assignments in the Danville, IL area, and surrounding locations.
  • Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and fire and safety is a plus.
  • All interested candidates are welcome to apply, even if lacking experience. We offer a 15-hour online certification option to qualify you.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule on-site surveys and deliver risk control reports to insurance industry clients.
  • Provide necessary information for underwriting commercial insurance policies and make recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Manage assignments, secure customer appointments, and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Own tools: Digital camera, Windows-based computer, high-speed internet, reliable vehicle, measuring device, and Auto/General Liability Insurance.
