**Job Description**

Position: Construction Senior Manager

AECOM is currently seeking a Construction Senior Manager to join our expanding Energy Business Line. This role involves supporting extensive multi-year projects as a key member of the program and construction management team. The projects encompass various areas such as grid modernization, transportation electrification, renewable fuels, hydrogen and carbon capture, microgrids, solar and battery storage, among others.

We are engaged in projects across industrial, municipal, defense, and commercial sectors. AECOM provides the flexibility to work remotely or from any of our Energy offices situated in multiple U.S. locations.

The primary responsibilities entail but are not restricted to:

  • Setting operational goals and plans.
  • Assessing objectives to gauge operational success.
  • Representing AECOM in interactions with diverse stakeholders throughout project planning and execution.
  • Acting as a liaison between AECOM and clients through verbal and written communication.
  • Maintaining records and regular communication with leadership teams regarding project schedules and costs.
  • Implementing strategic policies for achieving desired outcomes.
  • Supervising the work of construction contractors procured by AECOM and clients.
  • Leading project administration during the construction phase.
  • Providing technical guidance to construction contractors based on project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Addressing a wide range of issues that require comprehensive analysis.

**Qualifications**

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 14 years of relevant experience and 2 years of leadership role.
  • Valid US Drivers License, and must pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review.
  • Successful completion of a drug-screen as part of the employment process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an ABET accredited institution along with 10+ years of related experience.
  • History of increasing responsibility in construction management.
  • Hands-on experience in installing underground facilities for power or telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with duct bank installations in specific regions.
  • Certified Journeyman status in a relevant trade.
  • Experience overseeing construction for Power Utility projects.

**Additional Details**

  • Sponsorship and relocation options are not available for this position.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with location and individual qualifications, ranging from $170k to $215k.
