En este puesto, aplicarás conocimientos técnicos avanzados para llevar a cabo un amplio rango de tareas de diagnóstico, mantenimiento preventivo, alineación, calibración y renovación de equipos tanto de hardware como software para diversos sistemas y equipos de procesamiento de correo, servicio al cliente y uso operacional.
Las responsabilidades del trabajo incluyen:- Realizar pruebas complejas, diagnóstico y mantenimiento de equipos o sistemas electrónicos.
- Identificar y corregir fallas para asegurar el óptimo rendimiento del sistema.
- Realizar inspecciones de equipos para evaluar la calidad del servicio o mantenimiento proporcionado.
- Sugerir mejoras en las actividades de mantenimiento y análisis de fallos de equipos para asegurar un mantenimiento adecuado.

TAREAS Y RESPONSABILIDADES:
1. Realiza pruebas complejas, diagnóstico, mantenimiento y calibración de equipos o sistemas electrónicos; puede ser requerido para realizar mantenimiento en equipos y sistemas electromecánicos asociados.
2. Observa el funcionamiento de los sistemas y equipos, aplicando métodos y procedimientos de diagnóstico para identificar y corregir fallas asegurando el máximo rendimiento del sistema.
3. Realiza inspecciones de equipos para evaluar la calidad del mantenimiento recibido y detectar fallas incipientes; inicia órdenes de trabajo solicitando acciones correctivas para equipos que no cumplan con los estándares de mantenimiento u operativos; estima el tiempo y materiales necesarios para realizar correcciones e investiga las causas de fallas frecuentes o graves para recomendar acciones de mantenimiento remedial.
4. Sugiere modificaciones en las actividades de mantenimiento preventivo; colabora en la revisión de listas de verificación de mantenimiento preventivo y operativo.
5. Realiza análisis de fallos de equipos; revisa informes operativos y auditorías para determinar dónde se pueden hacer mejoras operativas y prevenir el deterioro de equipos o sistemas.
6. Participa en la instalación, modificación, ensamblaje y/o desmantelamiento de equipos y sistemas.
7. Participa en programas de formación en el aula, en el trabajo y a distancia; asiste a cursos en instalaciones postales, escuelas técnicas y sitios de fabricantes; ayuda a desarrollar e implementar programas de capacitación; proporciona formación en el trabajo a otros empleados de mantenimiento de menor nivel.
8. Ofrece apoyo técnico a otros empleados en las instalaciones o en proyectos dentro del área servida; realiza comprobaciones operativas y pruebas finales del trabajo completado por otros empleados; puede trabajar sin supervisión directa.
9. Puede conducir un vehículo o utilizar otros medios de transporte adecuados en el curso de sus funciones asignadas.
10. Sigue las prácticas y requisitos de seguridad establecidos mientras realiza todas las tareas; lee y se adhiere a las instrucciones listadas en directrices de mantenimiento aplicables; mantiene una biblioteca de directrices de mantenimiento.
11. Realiza otras tareas según se le asigne.
