**Join the Team at UPMC Hamot as an Advanced Practice Provider**

This is a full-time opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide support to Lakeview Urologic Surgeons. The role entails a mix of office, hospital, and OR responsibilities, with a 40-hour workweek structured as either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts.

**Staff Level Role:**

The Staff Advanced Practice Provider plays a key role in setting care standards and providing patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include managing patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and demonstrating leadership qualities.

The successful candidate will be placed based on their experience level.

  • Demonstrate expertise in patient care and interactions.
  • Understand principles of growth and development across all age groups.
  • Provide care following department policies and procedures.

**Skills and Abilities Needed:**

  • Ability to build positive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Work effectively in complex environments and handle changing priorities.
  • Critical thinking and good clinical judgment.
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Licensure, education, certifications, and clearances are required for this role.


**PA Requirements:**

  • Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
  • Current state PA license and CPR certification.

**CRNP Requirements:**

  • Completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
  • Current state RN license and CRNP certification.
  • Certifications including CPR and ACNP preferred.
