As a Forklift Operator at XYZ Company, you will be responsible for efficiently operating industrial forklifts to move materials within the warehouse area, as well as loading and unloading truck trailers and shipping containers. Your role will involve maintaining the equipment, machines, and electrical components to ensure smooth operations.



Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Lot Clerks to verify and ensure the accuracy of quantities on pallets entering and leaving production.
  • Send out nightly reports on verified pallets and make necessary adjustments if needed.
  • Ensure proper labeling, wrapping, and cleanliness of all pallets.
  • Conduct cycle counting activities.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Lead to make any required adjustments or corrections.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and take appropriate actions.
  • Effectively communicate the status of inbound and outbound ingredients across different departments.
  • Ensure accurate positioning of all ingredients in their designated locations.
  • Operate forklifts to transfer materials between different areas within the facility.
  • Organize and secure stored materials such as boxes and pallets.
  • Manually load and unload materials onto pallets or lifting devices.
  • Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment before and after use.
  • Report any equipment damage or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Weigh products and record relevant information for production purposes.
  • Complete forklift operator training provided by the company.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Working Conditions:

Working as a Forklift Operator involves various physical activities such as standing, lifting, walking, bending, and reaching. The job also requires flexibility due to varying production needs. Additionally, you may be exposed to different temperatures, noise levels, and potential hazards in the working environment.



Skills and Specifications:
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in operating standup forklifts.
  • Capability to read and understand labels and numbers.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments.
  • Basic math skills for calculations.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.

Education and Qualifications:

While a high school diploma is preferred for this role, having certification in forklift operation is advantageous.
