T. Rowe Price is currently searching for a **Senior Android Mobile Developer** to join our integrated Application Development team. In this role, you will collaborate with our internal teams to design, modify, and develop applications for the financial services industry.

**Role Summary and Responsibilities**

  • Mentor and lead other developers enabling them to work independently
  • Lead development efforts, provide input into architectural and design decisions, and offer realistic estimates
  • Design and develop solutions in collaboration with various internal groups to ensure alignment with enterprise technology direction and standards
  • Contribute to code reviews and lead discussions to drive strategic decisions

**Business Knowledge**

Demonstrate deep knowledge of products/flows within supported businesses

Make decisions that align with the firm's broader business strategy and future priorities

Recommend solutions in line with Global Technology and business unit strategies

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a completed technical degree
  • Stay updated with the latest Play Store requirements and Android features
  • Proven experience in full lifecycle support of Android applications
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
  • Proficiency with Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose
  • Experience in writing multi-threaded and networked apps
  • Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Operate efficiently with one or more SDLC methodologies
  • Seek feedback to improve technical skills and actively participate in code reviews
  • Debug and fix software with minimal assistance
  • Practice automated testing and ensure work is tested in an automated and repeatable manner

FINRA licenses are not required or supported for this role. **Work Flexibility:** This role offers the flexibility of remote work up to three days a week.
