Overview

Position Summary:
The Vice President of Enterprise Systems is a critical executive role within our company, responsible for overseeing the
deployment and integration of Azure Development and Microsoft Dynamics 365 across our enterprise. This includes
vital areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Field Operations, Customer Service, and Sales. The role demands a strategic
leader who can manage large-scale systems implementations, ensure seamless integration with existing technologies,
and drive continuous improvement in system functionalities to support a multi-year transformation. The VP will
collaborate closely with other executive leaders to align technology solutions with business strategies, enhancing
overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Gain alignment with senior leadership and establish credibility with key stakeholders by demonstrating a sound
understanding of business objectives and goals. Leverage understanding to ensure technology roadmaps are
maintained with timelines, impacts, and dependencies communicated.

  • Provide focused, business-minded IT leadership, emphasizing IT's measurable contribution to business success
and business metrics (revenue growth, profitability, market share, customer service, expense reduction, etc.).
Direct experience with IT planning and budget management is required.

  • Lead the planning and execution of the enterprise-wide deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365, focusing on
integration and customization for Supply Chain, Field Operations, Customer Service, and Sales.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring they meet business needs and are
delivered on time and within budget.

  • Manage the relationship with Microsoft and other technology vendors to ensure the organization receives the
best service and technology solutions.

  • Ensure that enterprise systems operations align with the overall business strategy and objectives, facilitating
scalable growth.

  • Lead the evaluation of new technology solutions and make recommendations on technology adoption to
improve business processes and system efficiency.

  • Build a robust IT Application Team composed Architects, Leads, and Developers across the Dynamics 365 areas
of need.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including internal teammates, external vendors, and
service providers to achieve a flexible, responsive, world-class systems organization that has a high sense of
urgency, is customer-oriented, and exceptionally responsive.

  • Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of disruptions or failures.

  • Effectively influences IT senior leaders and business leaders on industry trends and emerging technologies in
anticipation of new business processes and systems; challenge the status quo in support of the technology
direction.

  • Excellent problem solving, root cause analysis skills.
  • Able to readily diagnose system deficiencies and independently design and implement effective solutions to
complex technical problems.

  • Exceptional management & organizational skills enabling real time prioritization, an effective intake process
for the team and a strong ability for holding the team accountable to results.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and manage technical projects, including identification of project
scope, requirements, deliverables, and coordination of project design and implementation activities.

  • Prior experience leading an IT team in a SOC 2 regulated company.

What we're looking for

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field;
Master's degree preferred.

  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role managing enterprise systems, preferably with
direct experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and teams in a similarly sized organization ($1B-$3B).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with Azure Cloud
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its application to Finance, Supply Chain, Field Operations,
Customer Service, and Sales.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead large, complex projects involving multiple
stakeholders.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical issues to non-technical
stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of business processes related to Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, and Field
Operations.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to foresee potential challenges and develop
proactive solutions.

  • Proven ability for working with a large and diverse group of personnel within field of expertise and providing
direction for resolving complex work assignments.

  • Must be knowledgeable of best practices for utilizing technology, automation, and various software
applications in order to achieve the highest level of productivity within organizational unit.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to make effective presentations to senior
management, must also be demonstrated. Influencing and Negotiating skills are important requisites for this
role.

  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and understand general business periodicals, professional journals, technical
procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulations

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to work with a variety of mathematical concepts
  • High-level ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • High-level ability to interpret a variety of instructions
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
