POSITION: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Are you an experienced electrical maintenance technician looking for a new challenge? Join our team at XYZ Company as we are currently hiring for the position of Electrical Maintenance Technician.

POSITION OVERVIEW

To ensure a safe workplace, you will be responsible for enforcing safety regulations and maintaining electrical equipment, service lines, substations, and more.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Utilize blueprints and wiring diagrams for installing and maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Inspect, clean, repair, and test electronic controls, motors, transmission lines, and more.
  • Perform scheduled inspections and adjustments on electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and make necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Install conduit, switches, controls, and fixtures as needed.
  • Keep detailed daily reports of work performed and equipment conditions.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: Pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeter, hammers, and other relevant tools.

MATERIALS USED: Cables, electric wire, insulators, repair parts, and related materials.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be willing to wear a Respirator.
  • Physically fit to handle Heavy Work tasks.
  • Able to work in challenging environments.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in electrical maintenance.
  • Other: Must have own tools.
