Job Description:
Warehouse Associates are responsible for efficiently working in a versatile work environment of order picking. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision. Following company safety policies and procedures is of great importance to this position.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other Associates to do the same.
- Works cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other Associates in order to complete tasks.
- Ability to locate products using technology (RF equipment, tablets)
- Ability to switch between different tasks on a daily basis.
- Works productively with little supervision.
- Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret numbers and words from a pick ticket.
- Ability to use a computer and understand basic functions
- Provides and inspires outstanding service to customers (i.e., stores, etc.) by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
- Maintains condition of Distribution Center and/or warehouse work area (I.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
- Additional duties as assigned by management team.
- Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
- Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
- Great attention to detail
- Diligent and punctual
- Good physical strength and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
