About the Role:

We are seeking outgoing pet enthusiasts to engage with customers at Petco and PetSmart for up to 24 hours a week. The main aim of this position is to share and emphasize the numerous advantages of Nulo's premium pet foods and to motivate customers to switch to Nulo products for their beloved dogs and cats. The job title is Nulo Brand Ambassador, and your success will be gauged by the sales outcomes of Nulo within the stores you are assigned to. Typically, this role requires 16-24 hours per week, with 4-hour shifts available from Thursday to Sunday. The compensation for this role is $19 per hour.

An outgoing and enthusiastic personality demonstrating a sincere interest in engaging with pet owners in a retail setting and understanding more about their pets. Though a sales background is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for this role. We are especially interested in candidates standing out for their exceptional social skills, pet passion, and strong work ethic.

What You'll Be Doing:

Initiating meaningful conversations with pet owners, showcasing a true love for pets, and building rapport. Actively engaging pet owners by listening to their pet stories and experiences, displaying genuine interest and empathy. Appreciating the unique aspects of each pet owner's bond with their pets, paying attention to crucial details and cues. Leveraging comprehensive product knowledge to effectively communicate how Nulo products can strengthen the special bond between pet owners and their pets. Assisting pet owners in selecting the most suitable Nulo products for their pets' requirements. Leaving a lasting impact by expressing gratitude to pet owners for sharing their stories, dedicating time and attention, and showing care for their pets. These responsibilities highlight the significance of establishing connections with pet owners, utilizing active listening, and showcasing product expertise - crucial for helping customers grasp the benefits of Nulo products for their pets and consequently boosting Nulo sales.

Additional Role Requirements:
  • Must adore pets and value premium nutrition.
  • Must be 20 years old or above.
  • Should be available to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25lbs.
  • Able to stand/walk for a minimum of 4 consecutive hours.
  • Requires reliable transportation and willingness to travel to nearby locations within a 20-mile radius.
  • Should possess an active email account and have daily computer access.
