Craig Street Forklift Operator

Position Responsibilities:
The Craig Street Fulfillment forklift operator is responsible for the daily activity of barrels and barrel goods at the Craig St.
Warehouse working in partnership with all woodworking vendors, The Lynchburg Hardware & General Store, and the JD used barrels team.
Preparing shipments for ground, freight, and local distribution. Receiving/Unloading of barrels and goods from local vendors.Partner with the Lynchburg Hardware & General Store to maintain barrel stock at the store as well as deliver barrels to the store when stock is needed.
Provide quality customer service in loading merchandise for guest purchases. Inventory management ensures the warehouse is fully stocked with the required products.Responsible for the safety and careful handling of all tools and merchandise Utilize proper techniques in lifting, packing, handling heavy objects, operating a forklift, and push/pull.
Maintain attendance and punctuality as required by the assigned work schedule within company standards. Assist the Jack Daniel's Homeplace with mail runs and deliveries. Receiving/Unloading of barrels and goods from local vendors. Preparing shipments for ground, freight, and local distribution. Inventory management ensures the warehouse is fully stocked with the required productsMinimum Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license.
Current or previous forklift operator experience is required and must possess an active license or be able to obtain an operator's license if not current.
Excellent time management. Respectful and courteous manner.Excelling in customer service skills, and maintaining good positive business relationships with both internal (JD, B/F, LH&GS/Barrel Shop) and external customers.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with body.Ability to lift, carry, and move moderately heavy objects daily (up to 75 lbs.) Ability to adapt positively; anticipate, plan, and react quickly in a continually changing environment.
