HealthMark Rehabilitation is searching for a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to assess and treat residents and short-term patients at our Smoky Hill facility in Salina, Kansas.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services following physicians' orders and professional practices.
  • Develop a comprehensive therapy plan of care including treatment, duration, frequency, and goals.
  • Document observations, patient responses, progress, and changes.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and billing in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining rehab equipment and treatment areas safely.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Kansas license/certification for PTA.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex systems and engage with staff and customers.
  • Time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically able to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in geriatric rehabilitation is a plus.
  • Successful completion of hiring process and background check.
