Description:Come join Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control in Camden, AR for a full-time Controls Engineer position. Camden Operations is a facility occupying over 2,000 acres and 2 million square feet of manufacturing space building rockets, missiles, launch canisters, and ground vehicles, as well as housing a state-of-the-art machining center. The facility currently has over 1,000 employees.


In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, designing and executing automated equipment solutions to support site manufacturing processes.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university. Will consider other degrees in a related discipline with some similar coursework in electric circuit analysis, electronics, or controls.

Must have a job or project history demonstrating an interest in electronic controls or automation.

Possesses the ability to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure


This position is located at a facility that requires special access, so the selected candidate must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of electrical and logic drawings

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve industrial automation equipment issues

Knowledge of industrial electronics and electrical components

Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk, RSView hardware and software

CAD experience developing electrical drawings

Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings

Some experience working with industrial control systems, such as power distribution, VFDs, motors, circuit protection, control devices, or instrumentation.

Has good communication skills and works effectively in a team environment

Proficient with MS Office software suite

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
