Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician to join our team at our partner hospital, Lakeland Regional Health, in Lakeland, Florida.
This physician will join a division of 10 surgeons, 3 non-operative physicians, and 11 physician assistants providing orthopedic and musculoskeletal care to over 36,000 patient visits in 2023.
Our department is home to an accredited Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship program and trains Orthopedic residents from HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, focusing on excellence in preparing surgeons as the next generation of Pediatric Orthopedic providers.
Nemours Orthopedics & Sports Medicine provides care at 7 outpatient clinics throughout Central Florida and is part of a statewide Orthopedic Service Line working collaboratively with locations in northeast and northwest FL in Jacksonville and Pensacola.
Other Nemours services onsite at Lakeland Regional include outpatient Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Urology, Rheumatology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine.

With 849 beds, Lakeland Regional is the 5th largest Hospital in Florida seeing over 200,000 ER visits and 43,000 admissions per year, over 2,100 trauma visits annually, and more than 3,000 deliveries.
This $275 million project has 300,000 square feet of stare-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient space including a 47-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit, a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, the area's largest Level II NICU, and an expanded 22 bed Pediatric Emergency Department.
