Our growing hotel management firm is looking for an energetic accounting manager with excellent attention to detail who can focus on the bottom line to keep our portfolio profitable.

We require a financial expert who can monitor internal control systems and make necessary changes to help increase revenue.

You will be in charge of accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance, and private and institutional financing.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and controlling the entire accounting function as per accounting standards.
  • Manage bank accounts and bank relationships and compliance.
  • Represent the Company with bankers and investors.
  • Dealing with the Bank / Finance Institutions for the existing credit facilities, and further credit facilities for the future expansions of the group. Evaluate financing options and select the most appropriate one for the company's needs.
  • Formulate monitor and ensure compliance of the budget.
  • Achieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions.
  • Preparing & monitoring Cash Flow.
  • Execute monthly/periodic audits and analyses (internal, statutory, Tax) and give directives to the team.
  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place.
  • Ensure timely compliance of payments and returns of all statutory requirements like professional tax, permits, and licenses.
  • Prepare requirements for assessments and other related matters with the various authorities like Income Tax, Sales Tax, etc.
  • To review the analysis of existing systems and implementation of further improvements.
  • Participate in technology upgradation in the organization & process for the coordination between internal and external departments.
  • Financial planning for projects and utilization of funds.
  • MIS reporting & review.
  • Responsible for Treasure Management.
  • Oversight of Annual Insurance renewal process.
  • Manage all pre-opening accounting procedures and set up requirements i.e., bank accounts, tax accounts, internal payroll accounts, account signers, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • An experienced professional who moves from theory to real-time application of knowledge in the business domain - a strategist and thinker, but also a catalyst and doer.
  • Knowledge of PMS and POS systems is strongly preferred
  • Goal oriented.
  • PC Proficiency is essential, with a high skill level in Microsoft Office and accounting programs.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA.
  • Must be able to travel as needed
