Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes in condition
  • Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and selfcare techniques
  • Assist in case management and discharge planning for patients
  • Perform airway management procedures as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Proficient in pain management techniques and administration of medications
  • Knowledge of inhalation therapy techniques
  • Familiarity with nursing home and assisted living regulations and protocols
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience in occupational health is a plus
