This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) that requires flexibility to work different shifts within regular business hours in the Pacific or Mountain time zones, including weekends.

If you are based in states within the PST or MST time zones, you will have the option to work remotely* as you tackle challenging tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to standardized processes for managing add or change requests and implementing them in the letter generation system
  • Review denial letters to ensure compliance with state and federal program requirements, while optimizing procedures for efficiency
  • Conduct internal Quality Control reviews on letter writing processes
  • Identify and rectify any deficiencies in letters
  • Work independently or collaboratively in a team setting
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and organizational abilities
  • Collaborate with business partners, Letter Owners, and other team members on letter template design and development
  • Create new templates or modify existing ones based on approved requests
  • Implement tested letter templates into production
  • Analyze inventory and propose streamlining opportunities
  • Summarize results and present findings to supervisors
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Qualifications:

  • LPN nurse with a current unrestricted compact state license, ability to obtain additional state licenses as required
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical patient care experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Comfort working with medical directors
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Excellent written skills with a focus on grammar and punctuation
  • Detail-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of direct clinical patient care experience
  • Understanding of managed care principles
  • At least 1 year of experience in medical management activities within a managed care setting

Compensation is determined based on various factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications, among others.
