A health system is looking for an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage.

If you find yourself in Florence, South Carolina, you can immerse yourself in the city's vibrant cultural legacy by visiting the Florence County Museum, which exhibits a wide range of art collections and historical displays.

We are in need of a full-time locum orthopedic surgeon to work 2-3 days a week in the OR and another 2-3 days a week in the clinic.

  • Clinic hours: 07:30 - 17:00, Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 12:00 on Fridays

Midlevel support is provided for both inpatient and outpatient care. The physician will handle hospital rounds on weekdays with an average of 0-6 inpatients per day. While occasional inpatient consults may be necessary, trauma APPs are available for assistance.

Patients range from adolescents to geriatrics, and a pediatric orthopedic specialist is accessible. Required procedures focus on conditions affecting the elbow downwards.
