Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Setup Technician in the Tinley Park, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan machining operation by reviewing blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and machining parameters
  • Set up machines for operations
  • Change tooling, set up machines, transfer commands to CNC modules, operate CNC machines and insert control instructions
  • Review program specifications to set machine parameters
  • Program part sequences
  • Make changes to work offsets

Experience Needed:

  • At least 3 years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience with CNC mills
  • Experience programming entire part sequences
  • Ability to train others
  • Apprenticeship or technical degree in CNC Machining is preferred
