Job Description:


The Therapist I position is part of a diverse team responsible for delivering direct clinical services to clients and their families. The role involves completing Psychosocial Assessments, providing individual, group, and family therapy, conducting psycho-educational training, organizing family meetings and discharge planning, contributing to program development, creating and reviewing Treatment Plans, and connecting clients with external resources.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans.
  • Create and implement treatment plans based on assessments, coordinate additional services, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Lead individual, group, or family sessions aligned with clients' treatment plans.
  • Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to address diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings, presenting relevant client information and recommending effective interventions.
  • Manage assigned caseload and develop specialized client groups or program modules.
  • Regularly update progress notes and treatment details in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure each client has a structured post-care plan and act as a Liaison to referral sources for continued care.
  • Offer crisis intervention to clients and families in acute distress and coordinate access to various community resources.
  • Provide case management, discharge planning, or aftercare support as necessary.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
  • Minimum one year of therapy experience across all age groups is required.
