Role

The BSC Maintenance caretaker will provide high-quality customer service to the college, maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe environment for the school community.

This position requires duties outside school hours. Work hours will be discussed with the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

  • Execute building maintenance programs, including repairs, replacements, and upkeep.
  • Assist in school improvements such as renovations and landscaping.
  • Maintain grounds, gardens, and equipment.
  • Handle furniture movement and room setups.
  • Ensure building security and safety measures.
  • Promote a clean and prideful school environment.
  • Practice environmental sustainability.

Experience/Skills:

  • Trade qualification or relevant experience.
  • Working with Children Check and driver's license.
  • Experience with tools, commitment to OH&S.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills.
  • Organizational, time management skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
