Position: Quality Assurance Engineer - Apptad

Company: Tech Solutions Inc.

Location: New York City, NY/ Jersey City, NJ (Onsite 3 days per week)Duration: Permanent

Job Overview: Are you passionate about ensuring quality in software development? We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in SDET to join our team at Apptad.

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, create test scenarios and execute test cases both manually and automatically
  • Demonstrate expertise in Core Java programming and coding
  • Utilize open-source test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, and Test NG
  • Implement BDD frameworks like Cucumber and SpecFlow for efficient testing processes
  • Conduct testing on a variety of platforms including web applications, APIs, message queues, and databases
  • Experience in testing desktop applications, messaging queues, and ETL systems
  • Analyze and interpret testing automation results and metrics effectively
  • Identify root causes of test failures and address them systematically
  • Proficiency in Test Management tool JIRA DC
  • Hands-on experience with CI Tools like Gitlab
  • Strong database skills to write complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle databases
  • Preferred exposure to ETL testing, Cloud technologies, and Mongo DB
