Responsibilities

Primary Function:

Safely transports finished goods and supplies to assigned areas while accurately completing all necessary documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and storing raw materials from the Warehouse, Inter-Plant Transfers, and Vendors.
  • Picking and loading orders for shipment to the Warehouse, customers, or Tollers.
  • Verifying INV transactions of resins, additives, order packaging, inventory, and scrap through the J-Items in the JDE system.
  • Ensuring proper distribution of weight in customer orders on trailers to maintain stability during transit.
  • Supplying packaging materials to work centers, removing finished pallets, and preparing for shipment.
  • Operating and maintaining a forklift per Berry Global's training programs.
  • Accurately documenting all receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities as per Berry Global's training.
  • Adhering to safety protocols, reporting unsafe conditions, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, safety sessions, and training provided by the company.
  • Assisting in resolving material discrepancies and system issues.
  • Promoting good housekeeping practices and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Completing all assigned tasks under the guidance of management.
Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- Requirement: High school diploma or GED, along with prior forklift operating experience. The applicant should demonstrate dependability, reliability, and maturity in handling equipment safely. Familiarity with ERP and INV systems is essential.

Pay Scale: $22.25 per hour.
