Your Impact:

  • Jacobs is looking for an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) 3 for a prime contract based in Columbia, MD.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide management support for an Information Assurance program.
    • Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce Information System Security policies, standards, and methodologies.
    • Manage security posture for an Information System or program.
    • Assist with evaluating security solutions for classified information processing.
    • Perform vulnerability assessments and support security authorization.
    • Support configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
    • Manage system changes and assess security impacts.
    • Prepare documentation reviews including System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, and Certification and Accreditation packages.
    • Support security authorization activities in compliance with RMF and DIACAP.
  • What You'll Need:
    • 12 years of related security authorization work experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or IT Engineering required.
    • DoD M compliance with IAM Level II certification necessary.
    • Experience in security tools, hardware/software security, communication protocols, and encryption.
    • Familiarity with commercial security products, security incident management, and PKI.
    • US Citizen with active TS/SCI and current full scope polygraph.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Perform requirements gathering and analysis.
    • Collaborate with engineers on system integration.
    • Plan and implement IT security programs and policies.
    • Analyze user needs and gather technical information.
    • Perform risk analysis and enable Government planning for security services.
    • Oversee engineering staff efforts and interact with customers and stakeholders.
    • Provide daily oversight to contractor ISSOs.
    • Serve as the Program's ISSM and collaborate on system integration efforts.
    • Advise Program Managers on technical oversight and assist with specific programs.
