This role is based at Carilion Allergy Clinic-Salem

This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

  • Monday - 5
  • Tuesday - 4:30
  • Wednesday - 4:30
  • Thursday - 6:00
  • Friday - 4

This role offers a sign-on bonus upon meeting requirements.

Our Licensed Practical Nurses provide nursing support in a physician practice or clinic as directed. Some of the LPN responsibilities include:

  • Completing patient assessments
  • Preparing patients for evaluations
  • Administering medications and injections
  • Maintaining work areas and equipment
  • Documenting patient information
  • Providing patient education
  • Assisting with referrals and lab procedures

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing school or eligible to sit for the Virginia licensure exam.
  • Experience: One year in a physician office preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current LPN licensure in Virginia required, AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
  • Skills: Customer-oriented, excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
