GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Focus Area Manager, the Production Assistant will handle direct labor and material tasks. Quality control/inspection duties linked to industrial services may be assigned. Additionally, the Production Assistant will aid in tracking inventory and fixture development supporting production operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support workshop production flow by executing direct labor tasks including assembly, cleaning, and machine operation
  • Handle materials by wrapping pallets, packaging goods, labeling cases/pallets, inventorying materials, and reorganizing for production
  • Perform inspection tasks such as visual checks, using gauges, and count weighing
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders for job setups and client training
  • Aid in fixture development for production floor use
  • Maintain cleanliness on the production floor and uphold safety standards
  • Address client service requests efficiently
  • Act upon any concerns related to safety or resident well-being
  • Adhere to reporting and compliance standards for health and safety
  • Ensure punctual attendance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Proficient in inventory management and documentation
  • Effective team player with a keenness to follow instructions
  • Willingness to work autonomously or collaboratively
  • Comfortable working in diverse settings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with basic hand tools (screwdriver, drill, hammer, etc.) required or willingness to learn
  • Understanding of fundamental housekeeping and maintenance tasks
