Opening with our client for a Chemical Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct catalyst evaluation and testing to assess performance and efficiency.
  • Design and operate process equipment for catalyst testing at lab and pilot scales.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize catalyst testing apparatus to ensure reliable and accurate results.
  • Analyze data and prepare detailed technical reports on findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all testing procedures.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in catalyst evaluation and design/operation of process equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of operating, troubleshooting, and designing lab or pilot-scale catalyst testing apparatus.
  • Knowledge of circulating fluidized bed operation, and/or reaction and fluidization engineering are beneficial.
  • Prior experience in catalyst testing and in materials science including physical or chemical characterization would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of process and automatic control equipment and soft wares (e.g., LabView or Ignition) are highly desirable but not required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and technical reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
