Role

  • Work in collaboration with Project Managers, Program and Project Accounting teams, Finance Teams and PMO to ensure project schedules and finances are accurate and up to date, driving consistency for precise project execution and reporting. Ensure alignment with DTP's Investment Lifecycle Framework and PMO reporting requirements. Support the Maintenance team for accurate project and program financial reporting.
  • Lead and collaborate in developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex issues, processes, practices, and systems to enhance business efficiency and delivery performance.

Position Outcomes

  • Apply specialized project management skills, including financial analysis, to ensure the capital works program stays within budget and reduces operating costs.
  • Lead in producing high-quality reports and valuable advice on project and program status to support financial governance effectively.
  • Enhance financial management capacity within project management team(s).
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships and influence stakeholders for timely program monitoring and financial services.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and flexible team environment.

To succeed in this role, you will analyze trends, obstacles, and opportunities both internally and externally, using systems thinking to find solutions. You will translate strategies into actionable projects, define governance to manage risks, and ensure success. Driving a culture focused on value addition and ROI is crucial, along with considering economic indicators for strategic direction and risk management. You will optimize back-office functions, add value for clients and stakeholders, and lead in building organizational capability.
