We're excited to announce a fantastic opportunity within the Neuromuscular division at Mount Sinai Department of Neurology.

This full-time position at Mount Sinai West Hospital in Manhattan involves performing electromyography (EMG/NCS) testing, caring for outpatients with neuromuscular diseases and general neurological complaints, inpatient General Neurology consult service, and being on call.

Our health system in New York City, along with the Neurology Department, offers top-notch care for patients with various neurological diseases and manifestations of systemic illness.

This role provides many growth opportunities, such as working with exceptional specialists, contributing to a robust QA/PI program, and engaging in trainee education.

The ideal candidate will join as an Assistant Professor at the renowned Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, demonstrating excellent clinical skills, neuromuscular or clinical neurophysiology fellowship training, and a passion for general neurology care.

Key qualifications include a Medical Degree, New York Medical License, Neurology and Neuromuscular/Clinical Neurophysiology board certification, and commitment to providing exceptional care and communication.

This position involves collaborating with a diverse set of teammates, building relationships, and continuously seeking to innovate care delivery.

The selected candidate can mentor various medical trainees and contribute to their education.


Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology and Neuromuscular/Clinical Neurophysiology (EMG)
  • Neuromuscular and/or Clinical Neurophysiology (EMG track) fellowship training
  • Commitment to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
  • Ability to respectfully collaborate and build relationships with a diverse set of teammates, including colleagues, trainees, administrators and APPs

  • Competitive salary range from 210K to 300K
