Requirements:

  • LA License
  • 1 year experience required
  • Speech-Language Pathology license issued by LBESPA / ASHA Certification
  • AHA BLS
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Acute and inpatient rehab / years
Scrub Color: Black / Blue
Required: Speech-Language Pathology license issued by LBESPA / ASHA Certification / BLS from American Heart Association(only), 1 year experience required, pediatric experience preferred / Acute and inpatient rehab / years
Summary: The Speech Pathologist is responsible for diagnosing and providing therapy for any of the following patients: neonates, infants, toddlers,school age children, adolescent and young adults, and adults who demonstrate disorders of communication and swallowing. Plans, organizesand coordinates the care of all assigned cases. In consultation with other disciplines/professionals, selects outcome goals and skilledinterventions. Effectively uses agency and community resources, to achieve patient and family independence with patient care in the patient'sresidence.
