Job Title:
TIG Welder

Our company is in search of a skilled TIG Welder with at least 2 years of experience in the field, although 5 years is preferred.

  • Operating a manual welder to TIG weld components following specific instructions
  • Working with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, cast, and cupronickel
  • Following verbal directives from manufacturing leadership for job orders
  • Performing tack-weld functions to join metal work pieces
  • Inspecting and recording quality requirements of finished work pieces

Ensuring safety by utilizing all safety devices/tools during welding processes and maintaining a clean work area is crucial. Compliance with company policies and procedures is expected.

Occasionally, you may need to engage in cross-training and alternate work assignments based on company needs.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in TIG Welding
  • Proficiency in welding Aluminum and Stainless Steel
  • Accurate use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
  • Efficient blueprint reading
  • Past TIG Welding experience/schooling

Job Type: Contract position for 6 months

Work Site: Fully on-site in Niagara Falls, New York

Work Environment: Industrial workshop setting, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including welding gloves, eye protection, steel-toe boots, and ear protection during the weld test.
