General Labor Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
- Lift materials
- Complete all assigned tasks in a quickly and safely
- Driving around Lea County picking up illegal dump sites, picking up deceased animals, recyclables, cardboard, and other materials.
- Walking 1/2 mile to o one mile bagging trash.
- Working in a crew of three
- Going around Lea County picking up trash from illegal dump sites.
- Picking up deceased animals, cardboard, recyclables and other materials (from local businesses)
- Spray washing scales
- Helping at main recycling center
- Working in different types of weather.
- Other Duties will apply
General Labor Shift Info
- Day Shift, 08:00 am to 05:00 pm - $12/hr
- Monday- Friday
General Labor Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
