Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation | Select Medical is currently looking for physiatrists at their locations in Saddle Brook, Chester & West Orange, New Jersey. Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical direction at the Kessler West Orange, Saddle Brook, or Chester location, overseeing patient care, program development, and professional standards
- Conducts initial evaluations of patients to determine their needs and rehabilitation potential
- Designs tailored treatment programs within established guidelines
- Prescribes appropriate therapies and devices, monitoring patient progress regularly
- Acts as the primary physician for inpatient rehabilitation programs
- Maintains accurate medical records and provides patient education and counseling
- Collaborates with community-based referral sources to facilitate patient care and referrals
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized medical school
- Board eligible or certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Current and valid state license to practice medicine
