Our chiropractic office is seeking a Medical Billing for 20 hours a week who is a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team.


The ideal Medical Billing is someone who is interested in a long-term commitment to our practice, able to work independently, reliable, organized and friendly.


Responsibilities:

  • Post daily charges and payments
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Generate monthly statements
  • Follow up with outstanding balances, unpaid claims, and appeal denied claims as necessary
  • Work with patients to answer billing questions
  • Maintain patient billing records and update information as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation for claims
  • Maintain filing and pulling charts
  • Light cleaning duties
  • Other duties may be added to the responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Some experience in medical terminology, medical billing, coding, and collections
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, providers, and insurance companies
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Have the ability to navigate and use healthcare billing software quickly and efficiently
