As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you will take on a leadership position within your team. You'll showcase broad knowledge across various technical domains, offering guidance on both technical and business matters. Your responsibilities will include conducting resiliency design reviews, breaking down complex issues into manageable tasks for fellow engineers, leading technical efforts for medium to large-sized products, and providing mentorship to your peers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate and promote a culture of site reliability practices throughout your team
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the reliability and stability of applications and platforms using data-driven analytics
  • Collaborate with team members to establish service level indicators and objectives
  • Showcase expertise in technical domains and identify technology-related bottlenecks
  • Be the point person during major incidents, resolving issues swiftly to prevent financial losses
  • Document and share knowledge within the organization
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Formal training or certification in Site Reliability Engineering concepts with at least 5 years of experience
  • Strong proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, system architecture, and other best practices
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes
  • Experience in observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform)
  • Expertise in troubleshooting networking technologies
  • Ability to collaborate across different stakeholder groups
  • Willingness to work weekends as per shift rotation
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • AWS cloud knowledge with familiarity in data bricks
  • Extensive experience with Splunk, Dynatrace & Grafana
  • Basic SQL knowledge in Oracle databases
