Trusted Staffe is partnering with a leading Level II trauma center in Everett, WA to find a highly motivated and skilled Nurse Educator – Acute Care to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement educational programs for nurses at all levels, ensuring alignment with current best practices and hospital protocols.
Conduct competency assessments and identify learning needs of nursing staff.
Deliver engaging and effective instruction using a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, simulations, and hands-on training.
Facilitate preceptor development programs to support new nurse integration.
Stay up-to-date on the latest nursing research and evidence-based practices.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the hospital's educational curriculum.
Collaborate with physicians, managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure educational programs meet departmental needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Master's Degree in Nursing or actively enrolled in a program with projected completion date within 18 months of hire
Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
National Provider BLS Certification (American Heart Association) - obtained upon hire
3 years of relevant clinical experience in acute care setting
Experience with adult education and course development
Preferred:
Certification in a specific nursing core specialty (upon hire)
Formal educator experience (teaching in a clinical setting)
Leadership experience in a healthcare setting
Experience with high-fidelity and low-fidelity simulation
