Ledgent is partnering with a small, family company that's been in business 50+ years. Their is low turnover, high-tenure of employees (a lot of people have been there years). Direct Hire Role. $26-$28/hour (depending upon experience).
Job Duties:
- Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice matching, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of all vendor invoices.
- Initiate payments via check, ACH, and wire.
- Maintain accurate filing system for retrieval of paid invoices.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Manage vendor relationships and address any payment discrepancies or issues.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare necessary AP reports.
- Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and resolve payment-related issues and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist with special projects and provide support for financial audits as needed.
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience (distribution industry a PLUS)
- Comfortable working on site, 5x/week
- Proficient in ERP software and Excel
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
