Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and External Reporting
Join our Corporate Accounting team as a Senior Manager, where you will be a vital player in collecting, analyzing, and presenting financial data.
- Specific duties include:
Technical Accounting:
- Ensure accurate reporting of business transactions following accepted accounting principles, such as Derivative accounting, post-retirement benefits, Stock-based compensation, Goodwill, Debt and equity transactions, Business combinations, Commitments, and contingencies.
- Conduct research and analysis on various accounting issues, working closely with Crown global division accounting teams.
- Stay updated on US GAAP and SEC changes, support the implementation of new accounting rules, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Corporate Accounting:
- Supervise monthly and quarterly closing procedures, analyze Corporate legal entities' performance, manage Global consolidation, and ensure SOX compliance.
SEC filings:
- Assist in preparing and reviewing external reports like Quarterly Earnings News Releases, Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and other necessary SEC filings.
- Strive to optimize reporting processes and controls continuously.
Business Partnership:
Offer accounting advice and support to Crown global businesses and senior management for strategic projects when necessary.
Internal Controls:
Act as a key contact point for both internal and external auditors during financial statements reviews and audits.
Job Requirements
In addition to the mentioned qualifications, the ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification with 8+ years of experience, including Big 4 public accounting background.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Capability to meet deadlines and lead effectively.
- Minimal travel involved.
