Recycling Sorter at Waste Management Facility in Portland, ME

Adecco is partnering with a local Waste Management facility to find dedicated Recycling Sorters in Portland, ME. This is an opportunity for temporary or temp-to-hire positions that offer a pay rate of $20 per hour, with potential for overtime.

Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday: 6:00AM - 4:00PM
Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Sort recycled materials, ensuring proper waste removal from recyclable products
  • Maintain a high level of job safety
  • Be flexible with working hours and schedule
  • Complete any other assigned duties
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Follow oral and written instructions effectively
  • Communicate clearly and establish good working relationships
  • Participate in semi-skilled tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with high productivity
  • Demonstrate quick and accurate decision-making abilities
  • Solve problems efficiently
  • Understand and apply safety regulations
  • Wear required PPE for respiratory protection
  • Identify machine jams

Pay Details:

$20.00 per hour
