Adams and Associates employs more than 2,000 staff members across the United States. Each year we provide academic, vocational training, and placement services to approximately 9,000 young people from ages 16 to 24 primarily in a residential setting. Are you enthusiastic about education and eager to support the next generation? If yes, we would like to extend an invitation to you to join our team as an Academic Instructor at the Miami Job Corps Center. As an Academic Instructor, your responsibilities would include providing training to students in the Career Education Center. You will work on developing individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure that students succeed in the program. Collaborating with CTT Instructors, you will integrate applied academics into CTT curricula to enhance student learning and success. It is imperative that you maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information and ensure the integrity of student data at all times.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of our students.
+ Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
+ Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience.
+ Provide one-on-one assistance and guidance to students who may require additional support.
+ Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
+ Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
+ Foster a positive and motivational atmosphere that inspires students to reach their full potential.

Qualifications
+ Bachelors degree from an accredited school required.
+ A valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver required.
+ Previous teaching or Job Corps experience preferred.
