We are currently seeking to hire a versatile employee for busy practice in Rockwall.

Compensation:

$19 - $21 hourly

Responsibilities:

Main Job Duties

  • Serve as liaison between practitioner and patient, communicating with patients on a daily basis.
  • Complete prescription orders and refills through EMR system.
  • Submit lab orders for patients through lab vendor sites.
  • Upload and dictate lab results for providers to review.
  • Download and process records requests.
  • Administrative medical assistance and trains in multiple positions as fill in as needed i.e. front office, triage medical assistant.
  • Escort patients to and from the exam room, gather vitals and intake questions.
  • Enter complete medical histories along with patients' current medications into the chart.
  • Assist the Physician/Provider in the room by preparing the chart note and patients medical record.
  • Daily cleaning and organizing and stocking the exam rooms. Oversees inventory and ordering.
  • Laboratory maintenance that includes cleaning and autoclaving instruments.
  • Complete prescription orders and refills through EMR system.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or provider.
Qualifications:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily and be adept at multi-tasking.
  • They must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Servant leadership mentality as demonstrated through exceptional customer service is a must
  • The candidate should be very comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to be a team member who fits into the culture of the company and works well with other team members at all levels - peer, supervisory, and subordinate.

Education/Experience

  • High School Degree
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred, but not required
  • Phlebotomy certification, is a plus
