Join our team as a Category Management Specialist

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Category Manager in implementing and supporting Category, Merchandising & Pricing strategies
  • Provide leadership coverage in the absence of the Category Manager
  • Collaborate across departments to achieve key performance metrics
  • Analyze categories to align with Banner strategies
  • Manage assortment mix changes and promotional planning
  • Develop a comprehensive Category strategy aligned with consumer needs and business goals
  • Oversee commodity items with product knowledge insights
  • Collaborate with Fresh Foods Buyers and Indirect Sourcing
  • Forecast Sales, Margin, Shrink, and Labor projections
  • Maintain and update order guide
  • Provide merchandising recommendations for Banner ad themes
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5-8 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of Category Management, Merchandising, Pricing, or Retail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
The Salary Range for this Position is between $72,880 and $109,320.
