We are committed to assisting children, adolescents and adults from ages 5 and above with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence and self-worth by providing the appropriate supports.

SE Home Care Services was established in Alexandria as a private, for-profit agency that promotes independent living skills and provides assisted living supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and will start operations as a Supportive In-home Services Agency for adolescents, youths and adults serving ages above thirteen.

SE Home Care Service is guided by a Board of Directors, which is dedicated to our vision to promote the independence and inclusion of each individual that we shall be supporting.

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Support individuals in participating in community activities and social events
  • Document individual progress and any incidents or changes in behavior
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals including nurses, social workers, and therapists

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a similar role, such as assisted living, patient care, or childcare
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility needs
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Understanding of dementia care principles (if applicable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
