Job Purpose
The Remote Unification Specialist plays a vital role in coordinating case management and family reunification services for children in a on-site childrens residential facility, ensuring their safe and timely release to appropriate care.
  • Coordinate case management and family reunification services (remotely) for children.
  • Initiate and maintain direct contact with unaccompanied child refugees and their family members.
  • Facilitate timely release of children to family members or caregivers/custodians.
  • Support family members or sponsors by assisting them in understanding the process and the childs needs.
  • Attend all case staffing discussions, training, and meetings as part of the minors care team.
  • Handle crisis intervention and complex situations with compassion and decisiveness.

Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Bachelors degree in Social Work or equivalent field.
  • Experience in case management work.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit for more than 8 hours per day.
  • Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
  • Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Must pass a clean criminal background check and drug screen.
